Message from Rob Wittman:
Dear Friends and Neighbors,
When it comes to health care, most conversations focus on what is not working.
But there has also been important progress, especially when it comes to lowering costs and giving patients more control.
I have been working on reforms designed to make health care work better for you and your family.
That includes what was passed in the Working Families Tax Cut, which expanded access to Health Savings Accounts, allowing more families to save and spend money on care tax-free. This gives you more flexibility and control over your health decisions.
I have also supported expanding access to direct primary care, which allows patients to work directly with their doctor for routine care. This approach can lower costs and improve access.
In addition, I have worked to strengthen telehealth options, making it easier to connect with doctors from home. This is especially important for seniors, rural communities, and busy families.
I have also supported efforts to address pricing differences in the system, so patients are not charged more for the same care depending on where they receive it.
These are common-sense reforms focused on putting patients first by increasing transparency and competition.
At a time when families are concerned about rising costs, I will continue working on solutions that lower expenses and improve access.
Thank you for the opportunity to serve you.
Sincerely,

Rob Wittman
