I am pleased to announce we have a Republican nominee for United States House of Representatives: Congressman Rob Wittman!
he Virginia Department of Elections has confirmed receipt of our Party Certification of Primary Candidates form, and Congressman Wittman was the only candidate to file. His name will appear as the Republican nominee on the November 8 General Election ballot.
Because our nomination has been determined, there will not be a June 21 Republican Primary for Congress in the 1st District.
Congratulations to Congressman Wittman on his re-nomination. Now, let’s win big on November 8!
