Congressman Rob Wittman (VA-01) highlighted the House passage of three Community Project Funding (CPF) requests for the First District: $8 million for phase II of the Powhite Parkway Extension project in Chesterfield County, $3,254,400 for Bethel Manor Elementary School, and $810,000 to the Middle Peninsula Chesapeake Bay Public Access Authority for securing upland dredge material sites.

“Community Project Funding ensures taxpayer dollars are spent where they’re needed most — right here in Virginia’s First District — not decided by unelected Washington bureaucrats,” said Rep. Wittman. “I am proud to deliver results that matter for Chesterfield County, Bethel Manor Elementary School, the Middle Peninsula Chesapeake Bay Public Access Authority, and the District at large.”
